JAHT
54Mbps Wireless ADSL Modem Router, WAM-4054P, provides office and
residential users the ideal solution for sharing a high-speed ADSL
broadband Internet connection on a 54Mbps wireless network and a
10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet backbone. They can support downstream transmission
rates of up to 8Mbps and upstream transmission rates of up to 1Mbps.
The product supports PPPoA (RFC 2364 - PPP over ATM Adaptation Layer
5), RFC 1483 encapsulation over ATM (bridged or routed), PPP over
Ethernet (RFC 2516), and IPoA (RFC1577) to establish a connection
with ISP. Via the user-friendly management interface, WAM-4054P
can be managed by workstations running standard web browsers.
WAM-4054P also serves as an Internet firewall,
protecting your network from being accessed by outside users. Not
only provides the natural firewall function (Network Address Translation,
NAT), it also provides rich firewall features to secure a user's
network. All incoming data packets are monitored and filtered.

| Features |
|
• Shared Internet Access. All users on the LAN can
access the Internet through WAM-4054P, using only a single external
IP Address. (Routing mode)
• Standard Compliance. ADSL-Compliant with ANSI T1.413
Issue 2, ITU G.992.1 (G.DMT), and G.992.2 (G.lite).
• Data Transfer Rate. Data rate up to 8 Mbps downstream
and up to 1 Mbps upstream
• User Friendly Interface. Simple and intuitive
graphical user interface
• Fixed or Dynamic IP Address. On the Internet (WAN port)
connection, WAM-4054P supports both Dynamic IP Address (IP Address
is allocated on connection) and Fixed IP Address.
• Virtual Servers. This feature allows Internet users
to access Internet servers which located on LAN side. The required
setup is quick and easy.
• DMZ. One PC on your local LAN can be configured to allow
unrestricted 2-way communication with Servers or individual users
on the Internet. This provides the ability to run programs which
demand for bi-directional communication.
• Built-in 4-port switch. Four Auto-Negotiation, Auto-MDI/MDI-X
Ethernet RJ-45 ports are used to connect office network or workstations.
• DHCP Server support. Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol
provides a dynamic IP address to PCs and other devices upon request.
WAM-4054P can act as a DHCP Server for devices on your local LAN.
• Easy Setup. Use WEB browser from anywhere to begin the
configuration.
• Remote Management. WAM-4054P can be managed from any
PC on your LAN. If the Internet connection exists, it can also be
configured via the Internet.
• NAT Protection. An intrinsic side effect of NAT (Network
Address Translation) technology is that by allowing all LAN users
to share a single IP address, the location and even the existence
of each PC is hidden. From the external viewpoint, there is no network,
only a single device - WAM-4054P.
• Supports both 802.11b and 802.11g Wireless Stations.
The 802.11g standard provides for backward compatibility with
the 802.11b standard, so both 802.11b and 802.11g Wireless stations
can be used simultaneously.
• WEP support. Support for WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy)
is included. Key sizes of 64 Bit and 128 Bit are supported.
