| JWN-5108PCI
is an IEEE 802.11g Wireless PCI card that can operate in either
Ad-Hoc mode or Infrastructure mode. IEEE 802.11g uses 2.4GHz frequency
band, the same as IEEE 802.11b; but it provides almost 5 times throughput
rate than 802.11b. With the latest innovative Super G technology
integrated, the maximum data rate of JWN-5108PCI is 108Mbps, which
doubles the speed of standard 802.11g. JWN-5108PCI is also backward
compatible and interoperable with IEEE 802.11b compliant wireless
devices.
The JWN-5108PCI is provided with a detachable dipole antenna that
can be replaced with optional external antennas to obtain better
signal quality and greater connection distances. For security, JWN-5108PCI
provides 64/128/152-bit WEP Encryption.
