JWP-9006BM is a 2.4 GHz and 5.8GHz dual-band wireless outdoor ap bridge that complies with IEEE 802.11a/b/g standards. This unit covers a large operating distance for Wireless LANs and broadband Internet access with transfer rate up to 54Mbps or 108Mbps at turbo mode, and yet auto fallback to retain its connectivity. With unique Optimal Distance Technology, it helps to minimize TCP round-trip delay caused by variable distances and environments. For security, it supports multiple SSID, VLAN, Radius, 64/128/152-bit WEP, WPA and WPA-PSK. For IT or network managers, the detailed link status by station or bridge helps to identify the link quality of each link. This unit can also be easily managed by various tools including web browser, SNMP, and FTP. By using such technologies as Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS), Dynamic Frequency Select (DFS) and Transmission Power Control (TPC), it links two or more separate networks typically located in different buildings at the higher rate than T1/E1 and completely eliminate the need of installing leased line or fiber.
